class="styles__Container-sc-1ylecsg-0 goULFa"><span>A 52-year-old woman was crossing at a green light on Pearcedale Parade in Broadmeadows, in Melbourne's west, just before 9.30am when she was allegedly hit by a silver Toyota Camry.</span></div></div><div class="block-content"><div class="styles__Container-sc-1ylecsg-0 goULFa"><span>The local woman was rushed to hospital with Heidelberg Heights woman, stopped at the scene and was arrested.</span></div></div><div class="block-content"><div class="styles__Container-sc-1ylecsg-0 goULFa"><span>She has been charged with dangerous driving causing serious injury, careless driving and disobeying a red traffic control signal.</span></div></div><div class="block-content"><div class="styles__Container-sc-1ylecsg-0 class="styles__Container-sc-1ylecsg-0 goULFa"><span>It's the second serious pedestrian collision in Victoria in as many days, after a 65-year-old pedestrian was fatally struck by a car at Alexandra, in regional Victoria, yesterday.</span></div></div><div class="block-content"><div class="styles__Container-sc-1ylecsg-0 goULFa"><span>"Driver attention is so important in all different circumstances, be it in the country or in highly, densely populated areas like this," Romanis said.</span></div></div><div class="block-content"><div class="styles__Container-sc-1ylecsg-0 goULFa"><span>"It's really concerning, despite all the messaging that the police have done over the Anzac Day weekend, that these incidents are still occurring that appear to be entirely preventable."</span></div></div><div class="block-content"><div class="styles__Container-sc-1ylecsg-0 goULFa"><span>Investigators are appealing for anyone with additional dashcam or CCTV footage, which may capture the moments surrounding
