year. </span></div></div><div class="block-content"><div class="styles__Container-sc-1ylecsg-0 goULFa"><span>Thi Kim Tran, 45, was at her home in Bankstown about 10.30pm on April 17 when a group of goULFa"><span>The men are accused of assaulting an eight-year-old boy with a baseball bat, putting him in a coma, before forcing the woman into an SUV.</span></div></div><div waiting at a rural property in Victoria for Tran's husband with the intention of killing him.</span></div></div><div class="block-content"><div class="styles__Container-sc-1ylecsg-0 goULFa"><span>When he failed to appear, Sydney-based offenders allegedly kidnapped Tran in a bid to force his compliance, before ultimately killing her.</span></div></div><div class="block-content"><div class="styles__Container-sc-1ylecsg-0 goULFa"><span>Since last December, five others have been charged over their alleged role in Tran's abduction and murder.</span></div></div><div class="block-content"><div class="styles__Container-sc-1ylecsg-0 goULFa"><span>On December 16, police arrested a 26-year-old man following a raid on a property in Monterey in southern Sydney.</span></div></div><div class="block-content"><div class="styles__Container-sc-1ylecsg-0 goULFa"><span>Later on January 16, detectives arrested a man aged 22 at Sydney airport before they took into custody a 30-year-old man at the same location on February 21.</span></div></div><div class="block-content"><div class="styles__Container-sc-1ylecsg-0 goULFa"><span>On March 16, two men – aged 18 and 25 – were arrested in Silverwater and Lithgow.</span></div></div><div class="block-content"><div class="styles__Container-sc-1ylecsg-0 goULFa"><span>All were refused bail and charged with murder,
