E-bikes are great and are a great asset to the community. Our problem is illegal motorbikes," RACQ Head of Policy Michael Kane said.</span></div></div><div class="block-content"><div class="styles__Container-sc-1ylecsg-0 goULFa"><span>It comes after 15-year-old Fudou Stovell was killed when he lost control of his e-bike on the Gold Coast on Saturday.</span></div></div><div class="block-content"><div class="styles__Container-sc-1ylecsg-0 goULFa"><span>At the time, police revealed he was illegally riding the electric motorbike on the road.</span></div></div><div><div class="OUTBRAIN" data-reactroot="" data-src="//www.9news.com.au/national/queensland-ebikes-peak-organisations-unite-to-call-for-crackdown-after-deaths-of-children/dfd84e15-7a66-4145-8a17-1ead19e1cc18" data-widget-id="AR_5"></div></div><div class="block-content"><div class="styles__Container-sc-1ylecsg-0 goULFa"><span>Just days after, eight-year-old Zeke Hondow collided with another e-bike rider and died on the Sunshine Coast.</span></div></div><div class="block-content"><div class="styles__Container-sc-1ylecsg-0 goULFa"><span>RACQ was joined by the Royal Australian College of Surgeons, Motor Trades Association of Queensland, Bicycle Queensland and Queensland Walks in a desperate call for action.</span></div></div><div class="block-content"><div class="styles__Container-sc-1ylecsg-0 goULFa"><span>"We're the only state that allows these children to ride e-scooters under the age of 16.
