in the lower house, then yes, of course, you're going to have to have someone with experience there to do the very best job we can," he told </span><em><span>The Sydney Morning Herald</span></em><span> showed One Nation level with the Coalition at 23 per cent of the primary vote for the first time.</span></div></div><div class="block-content"><div class="styles__Container-sc-1ylecsg-0 goULFa"><span>Labor is still sitting comfortably at 32 per cent of the primary vote.</span></div></div><div class="block-content"><div class="styles__Container-sc-1ylecsg-0 goULFa"><span>Voters leaned towards a Coalition under new leader Angus Taylor by three more percentage points over his predecessor Sussan Ley.</span></div></div><div class="block-content"><div class="styles__Container-sc-1ylecsg-0 goULFa"><span>Taylor used his first official press conference to appeal to voters thinking of shifting class="block-content"><div class="styles__Container-sc-1ylecsg-0 goULFa"><span>"They've changed the leader, but they're still on a dead horse," she said shortly after Taylor won leadership. </span></div></div><div class="block-content"><div class="styles__Container-sc-1ylecsg-0 goULFa"><span>But Prime Minister Anthony Albanese believes One Nation's surge will be short-lived, telling the ABC today that the party's previous rises in popularity have "all collapsed" after a few years.</span></div></div><div class="block-content"><div class="styles__Container-sc-1ylecsg-0 goULFa"><span>"We will wait and see what the relationship is between Pauline Hanson and Barnaby Joyce in a couple of years' time, two very big egos put in one melting pot," he
