vehicle and possessing dangerous drugs.</span></div></div><div class="block-content"><div class="styles__Container-sc-1ylecsg-0 goULFa"><span>He will face Brisbane Magistrates Court on August 6.</span></div></div><div class="block-content"><div class="styles__Container-sc-1ylecsg-0 goULFa"><span>The incident took place during an inner-city patrol in Brisbane to "detect and deter" the use of illegal e-bikes.</span></div></div><div class="block-content"><div class="styles__Container-sc-1ylecsg-0 goULFa"><span>E-bikes in Queensland must not have an electric motor which allows speeds in excess of 25km/h.</span></div></div><div class="block-content"><div class="styles__Container-sc-1ylecsg-0 goULFa"><span>If it does not meet this requirement, it must qualify and registered as a class="block-content"><div class="styles__Container-sc-1ylecsg-0 goULFa"><span>"Some e-bikes exceed speed limits and are classified as motorbikes, meaning they require registration, insurance, and a licence," Comadira said.</span></div></div><div class="block-content"><div class="styles__Container-sc-1ylecsg-0 goULFa"><span>"We encourage owners of these devices to take these rules seriously and
