But you know, we're governed by fuel prices," Mr Croydon said.</span></div></div><div class="block-content"><div class="styles__Container-sc-1ylecsg-0 goULFa"><span>The Gold Coast couple budgeted between $5000 and $9000 for fuel throughout their trip but soaring petrol prices mean that figure is already looking double that.</span></div></div><div class="block-content"><div class="styles__Container-sc-1ylecsg-0 goULFa"><span>"It could cost anything from $15,000 to $18,000.
