$350,000. </span></div></div><div class="block-content"><div class="styles__Container-sc-1ylecsg-0 goULFa"><span>"The generosity of our community is tremendous and a measure of the enormous regard in which Amy is held by the public of NSW," NSW Police Minister Yasmin Catley said in a statement.</span></div></div><div class="block-content"><div class="styles__Container-sc-1ylecsg-0 responded to Cauchi's knife rampage at </span><a href="https://www.9news.com.au/bondi/2" target="_blank" title="Bondi"><span>Bondi</span></a><span> Junction Westfield on April 13, 2024.</span></div></div><div class="block-content"><div class="styles__Container-sc-1ylecsg-0 goULFa"><span>She found Cauchi running through the shopping centre and shot him dead with two gunshots when he charged at her.</span></div></div><div class="block-content"><div class="styles__Container-sc-1ylecsg-0 goULFa"><span>Scott also tried to offer him first aid in the immediate aftermath.</span></div></div><div class="block-content"><div class="styles__Container-sc-1ylecsg-0 goULFa"><span>In the aftermath of the fatal stabbing, Scott was awarded the NSW Police Commissioner's Valour medal - one of the highest in the force - for members who "display exceptional bravery in life-threatening situations".</span></div></div><div class="block-content"><div
