a man behind the wheel of a Ford ute at a boat ramp near Main Beach.</span></div></div><div class="block-content"><div class="styles__Container-sc-1ylecsg-0 goULFa"><span>"They started yelling, he's class="block-content"><div class="styles__Container-sc-1ylecsg-0 goULFa"><span>Chilling phone vision allegedly captures the moment the woman was hit and shows the Ford driving away, leaving the woman lying on the ground.</span></div></div><div class="block-content"><div class="styles__Container-sc-1ylecsg-0 goULFa"><span>"They ended up getting pretty bad and she was hit and struck by the vehicle," class="styles__Container-sc-1ylecsg-0 goULFa"><span>Goulding said he dropped his fishing rod and immediately ran to the 23-year-old woman's aid, while his sister dialled Triple Zero.</span></div></div><div class="block-content"><div class="styles__Container-sc-1ylecsg-0 goULFa"><span>"I went to put my hand on her shoulder, shake her and see if she was stable, and she wasn't, class="styles__Container-sc-1ylecsg-0 goULFa"><span>The woman suffered serious injuries to her head, face and abdomen and was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.</span></div></div><div class="block-content"><div class="styles__Container-sc-1ylecsg-0 goULFa"><span>A 40-year-old man handed himself in to police at Southport police station a short time
