Hours later, the family flew back to Denver, but their fate in the country was uncertain.</p><p class="css-ac37hb evys1bk0">Lauren Bis, a spokeswoman for the Department of Homeland Security, said in a statement that Ms. El Gamal and her children had been issued a final order of removal in December 2025.
